July 25 Thursday
Free concert at Stuart Hall. Went with Rob and Mich [outdoors. I remember it was loud and not wonderful]. Went to Pizza Romana after.

Heather parent's townhouse (near Ralph's) burned down about now. She moved to Baie d'Urfé, then across the train tracks in Beaconsfield in 1975.

July 26 Friday
Went to Long Sault with Heather and Pattie. (Long Sault was a provincial park about 100 miles west of Montreal along the St Lawrence River. A small corner was put aside for freaks away from the family areas, which was ok with us. The police seemed to leave us along as long as you didn't walk with open beer on the road, or run nude into another's tent...).

Our campsite was a good one, up a small hill. We had two tents, Dugald's large one and a small one.

We began partying with Southern Comfort, with a water chaser (from an Aunt Jumima bottle).

People walked around from campsite to campsite to see what was happening. Some were better than others. It was never quiet there.

The events and order are a bit foggy, but... Heather and Pattie had a drinking contest with some guys at the next campsite. Heather won.

Pattie disappeared, but was found crashed in another tent.

Rob and Mich came up for the Saturday afternoon (July 27). Wade Gaylord's friend had done too much acid, and ran nude into a woman's tent. The police took him away.

That night drank tequila, got smashed again. I went skinny dipping with some guys in the river (which bugged Heather and Pattie; "Why were you so interested in those guys?").

I'm pretty sure one campsite was occupied by some gay guys.

I tried to read 'Lord of the Rings' this weekend, but didn't like it. (that would come later)

(July 28) Returned. Pattie and Heather brought two guys (with great Moroccan). One we dropped in Ste Anne's (by the water tower). The other was blond. Heather made it clear to me that he didn't want to be left alone with him, so I went along with them as he took us to the St Lawrence Yacht Club for awhile.

July 30 Tuesday
Bought 'Live at Leeds' - nite at Kingsman Park with Danny and his cousin, Mich and Rob. Beer. Juicers came over [Graham Banks and others came. I argued with one about weed or beer. They came/followed? us to my place].

July 31 Wednesday
Rainbow [a double one]. nite- here in the basement. Rob, Mich, got oil. Then Maggie, Ernie, Foster and Gribbin, Purcell came over. Foster was pissed drunk.

Around this time Foster did acid at Long Sault, got a bit rowdy.
